Biography

Erika joins NewPoint Law Group as an Associate Attorney engaged in the practice areas of Taxation, Bankruptcy, Litigation and Transactional work. Her background is in Corporate Finance where she spent 15 years in the capacity of Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) involved with consumer protection laws, and as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Erika is an industry advocate for de-regulation and practical rulemaking among lawmakers over the financial sector. Erika also supports community reinvestment in impoverished jurisdictions through financial literacy, empowerment of underprivileged youth, and pursues environmental justice through pro bono work at the Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Erika moved to Northern California in 2017 from the Delaware Valley/Greater Philadelphia area to undertake legal studies in an evening program at San Francisco Law School. Outside of her professional life, Erika is a competitive tennis player at a NTRP 4.0-4.5 level and enjoys distance running. Erika has an appreciation of the fine arts including but not limited to literary work by John Grisham
